Prodipe Pro Ribbon 5 Powered Studio Monitors

Prodipe Pro Ribbon 5 Powered Studio Monitors Tube. Duration : 0.98 Mins.

Link: www.buy.com Prodipe Pro Ribbon 5 Studio Monitors. So, what the heck is a Ribbon speaker/monitor? Compared to dome tweeters, either in metal, plastic or fabric, ribbon tweeters have the advantage of a much lower mass. The results are greater acceleration; then you can better reproduce transitions and high frequencies, and a more natural rendition for this end of the spectrum. Moreover, an improved performance in the high range leads to a better linkup with the speaker that does the other end of the spectrum. These extras make the monitors with a ribbon tweeter especially useful during acoustical music recordings where considerations of timbre and space are paramount. Frequency Response: 50Hz -30kHz High Frequency Driver: - 1? x 2"" - Ribbon tweeter Low Frequency Driver: - 5? SUBWOOFER CONSTRUCTION 15"x2 wf( 2x wf 38cm)-very low cost high power subwoofer

SUBWOOFER CONSTRUCTION 15"x2 wf( 2x wf 38cm)-very low cost high power subwoofer Tube. Duration : 5.28 Mins.

Sub-woofer Bass Reflex System with 2 x 15'' woofers for each box All you need for the construction of the box is vinylic glue, recycled hard cardboard, tape, silicone and paint. ....... Very very cheap!!!!!! The box was built with 4 layers of thick cardboard glued together. As the glue dries it hardens and the layers become hard as wood. In this way the box is capable of resonance and can reproduce extra low frequencies. This system can reproduce very powerful basses. Music is played with a high efficiency almost as if the sub-woofer was built with wood. In this prototype we used black tape to cover the surface of the box but it is possible also to paint it once the glue has dried The woofers where fixed in place with silicone in order to seal and not permit any air to pass When we finished the box we carried out many acustic tests using for example rock (hardrock and heavymetal), classical music and nature sound effects such as waterfalls and others...... We also tested the sound of the tibetan horn which reproduces very very low frequencies. The vibrations can be percieved strongly on your stomach and the rest of your body as it happens when you physically stand next to a tibetan horn. Towards the end of the video you will find specific tests which prove that this Sub-Woofer System can reproduce extra low frequencies (also subsonic frequencies)

Michael Wagener in the Studio Part 2

Michael Wagener in the Studio Part 2 Tube. Duration : 5.47 Mins.

Michael Wagener has produced and engineered recordings that have sold over 90 million copies worldwide. Renowned in the industry for big, heavy guitar sounds, Michael's impressive list of credits include Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Janet Jackson, Kings X, Dokken, Skid Row, and many more. Bonus Tech Tip from Michael Wagener As part of his recording process, Michael uses a technique he refers to as "Real-amping." In his own words, "What I do is, record the guitar with an amp sound and also as a DI track, using the Creation Audio Labs MW-1 ( ow.ly ). Then later, if I decide I want a bit more or less distortion, or want to add another amp tone, I use the MW-1 to send the DI signal back out into an amp. Sometimes it's easier to decide on the final amp sound when there are already a lot of the other instruments recorded. Works also very well when you want to add different sounds to a track." Michael's guitar amps of choice include the Randall modular series and Industrial Amps Rock 120, though lately Michael has become a big fan of Egnater amps (Link: ow.ly ), " . . . those are my newest find, love them." The Randall setup that Michael has been using as his primary tone factory with artists such as Kings X, comprises Randall two RT2-50 stereo tube power amps (ow.ly ) and two Randall RM4 preamp chassis (ow.ly ) (with one connected through the effects loop of the other). In one RM4, he Randall modular preamps he uses are the XTC Bogner (ow.ly ) (his favorite among the ...

KRK VXT Active Studio Monitors Review @ Nevada Music UK

KRK VXT Active Studio Monitors Review @ Nevada Music UK Video Clips. Duration : 6.90 Mins.

Here.. www.nevadamusic.co.uk The KRK VXT range is a slightly upmarket studio monitor from the RP Rokit series and is aimed at the more discerning home/project studio owner, the VXT 6 is the mid sized monitor in the range and is a seriously good studio monitor that has been designed and crafted with care, it uses the very best base materials to produce professional level results albeit perhaps in smaller style control/mixing environments ... The VXT 6 deploys custom-designed drivers in a curved housing, in order to reduce diffraction and cabinet resonance, however rather than using wood or cast metal, the KRK cabinets are made from ABS structural foam, which is both strong and well-damped. The moulding process means that parallel walls can be eliminated, which reduces the build-up of internal standing waves at specific frequencies. Omni-mount points are fitted to the cabinets for fixed installation purposes and the metal rear panel doubles as a heat sink whilst mains power comes in on a conventional IEC socket - a kettle plug to you and I, with a power switch located on the back of the monitor. The VXT6 is a ported, active, two-way design, combining a one-inch, silk-domed tweeter with a six-inch bright yellow woven Kevlar-cone bass and mid driver, both of which are fitted to a metal baffle and are flush with the front of the cabinet. The audio signal comes in on either a balanced jack or an XLR via a Neutrik Combi socket, wired to the usual convention (pin 2 hot), though ...

Stairway to Heaven

Stairway to Heaven Tube. Duration : 9.23 Mins.

Led Zeppelin Orlando 1971 [Genuine Masters, 2CD] Live at the Civic Auditorium, Orlando, Florida, August 31, 1971 "Interestingly, I've just got a bootleg from a gig in Orlando and in between every song I'm playing all these riffs. Somebody played it to me and I thought, Crikey, they're really good riffs! They never got used again, but they just came out on the spur of the moment. It was such an inspiring time, playing with inspired people, and we were all absolutely on top of it." - Jimmy Page, Guitarist Magazine (12/12/03) There are three versions of this show in circulation: Welcome To Disneyland Part 1 And 2 (Lemon Song) is an incomplete audience recording. Florida Sunshine: Orlando Magic (Empress Valley) is a nearly-complete soundboard with the missing gaps filled with an audience recording. Then there is Orlando: You Really Got Me (Genuine Masters). The latter is a DVD release (photo stills as a slideshow) and is also a nearly-complete soundboard with the missing gaps filled with an audience recording. The sound is generally excellent. According to Jules McTrainspotter on uuweb.led-zeppelin.us, the sound on the DVD is more 'natural', that is, the sources have not been EQ'd to the extent that Empress Valley like to do it... and the blend between the two sources [soundboard and audience] is seamless. There is also excellent stereo seperation between both left and right speakers, quite distinct in What Is And What Should Never Be." Listening to the show today, one would ...
