Dynaudio at Chord Electronics Confidence C1 CPM 2650 & Red Reference Paolo Nutini - Coming Up Easy Tube. Duration : 1.13 Mins.

The Chord CPM 2650 driving Dynaudio Confidence C1 Speakers at Chords production facility in Kent, The Pumphouse. The source for this system is the Red Reference CD player. All Chord Hi Fi is hand made in the building seen in this film. The Old Pumphouse, an 18th century grade A listed building that underwent renovation in the late 90's to turn it into Chord Electronics production facility. Formerly a pumping station that supplied water to Maidstone in Kent UK, the Pumphouse was also recommissioned for it's final duties as a pumping station in the mid 19th century. The historic building pumped water from the Medway River to the now infamous Barming Mental Asylam. Giving us the phrase Barmie. The Old Pumphouse has been lovingly restored by Chord Electronics owner Mr John Franks, who overcame numerous heardles to convert the bulding. Due to it's listing and the archiology under it's foundation, Mr Franks was forced to hang walls and then attach the various floors from them in order to make the building useable. The end result is amazing retaining many of the original features including the gigantic cast joust that housed the origanal beam pump. Small wonder The Pumphouse is now producing the worlds finest Hi Fi Chord Electronics.
