It was so noisy that it was a total noise overdose. Where can I possibly begin to describe this mess? The first pass was to remove the horrible interlace of the file. This was a strange hybrid interlace that caused some of the most ugly combing artifacts I have ever seen. I had to use two deinterlacing filters at the same time to dramatically reduce this crap before I ran the second filter pass. The second pass killed off even more of this digital junk and scraped off the yucky grain and fizz of the vob file. Both these stages took about four hours each.
