How to optimize your Mackie Thump TH-15A speakers. Insulating the inner ring of the speaker hole to keep air from escaping through small gaps which would create unwanted noise. I'm also going to stuff more insulation in the cabinet because there is so much air movement through the ports at certain sub frequencies. These speakers make noise at low volumes so I'd only recommend them for small to mid sized venues. Perfect for small venues where you can't fit a sub woofer.
