CHURCH CHOIR BACKGROUND Victory SDA church was established in April, 1996 as a Sabbath school of Kisumu central SDA church. The venue of worship was 'OFAFA MEMORIAL HALL' Kisumu-between 1996-2003 The establishment of the church saw the inception of victory SDA church choir. Thus Victory SDA church choir is as old as the church itself. Victory church choir has contributed remarkably in evangelism mission and as a result the church has experienced a very steady growth rate in terms of membership and offerings. Membership was drawn from spheres in Kisumu town ie The number grew from 8-300 members by the end of 1996. I n 1997, the church choir managed to record it first and second volumes in form of Audio cassette. During the same period the church choir organized an evangelistic campaign [crusade] that lasted for two weeks in which 50 souls were baptized. In 1998-2000 the church choir participated full in various efforts and crusades organized within and without central nyanza field. In 2001 the choir managed to produce its third and forth volumes and also organized a two week cru7sade at Ofafa hall grounds with Pastor Gilbert Ang'ienda as chief guest speaker and a total of 95 souls were baptized and another 45 were baptized two weeks later. In 2002 the church choir was actively involved in the LAOS crusade conducted by BARATON university students' pastors and victory SDA church at Ofafa hall grounds. At the end of LAOS crusade over 500 people were baptized and a new church ...
