I just received these transducers from PartsExpress and quickly hooked them up to the amp of a spare computer speaker in my office at work. I have them taped to a sheet of aluminum, then a piece of the foam that shipped in the box taped to that. The hole thing is sitting on top of the box the parts shipped in. Took a quick video with my phone to show others what they are like. They are not very loud, but maybe with a better surface and a tweeter and sub to help it could be better. UPDATE: I used these in my haunted house mounted to the back of the thin plywood walls of the haunt. I also paired them with a small 8" powered subwoofer. The immediate area varied in size from about (8ft x 4ft) to (8ft x 8ft). The sound was very loud, crisp, and clear. Scared the crap out of the kids!
