How to a Repair Bullet Tweeter.... Once Your Bullet Tweeter was working fine... then suddenly stopped, refused to work after. Instead of replacing the Tweeter or Voice Coil, I'll show you how simple it is to fix. Please Read the instructions carefully before you do anything. 1: Remove the screw from the back of the tweeter, located at the Center, Many times the screw is hidden Under the Label. 2: Remove the screws/ Bolts which is holding the front of the tweeter (The Funnel Looking Part) On to the magnet. 3: Gently remove the coil......Using a magnifier Lens/Glass, examine the Coil to locate the broken copper wire (located at either end of the coil where it's connected to the terminal) Mainly the positive End.. 4: Take your time and solder the broken wires, sometimes pieces of the wire would be burnt out, in this case use a strand of wire from your audio cable to link the broken ones, See example in the video.... Note: If the entire Coil is Burnt (Looks Black with Soot on it) then you may have to replace the Coil.
